How long does the project take?
Ideally give yourself as long as possible to work on your yearbook. This will enable you to edit text, change images, adjust your designs & make sure that you have your book looking exactly how you want it.
Production schedules are unique to every school or college. Simply decide when you require delivery of your Yearbooks and count backwards to work out your own deadlines.
If you create your book online, you will need to have your artwork authorised to go to print by a member of staff 8 weeks before you require your yearbooks to be delivered. If you are using the Premium service, it will need to be authorised for print 6 weeks before you require delivery, with your artwork needed at Boomerang 6 weeks before that.

What kind of covers are available?
Yearbooks are available with hard back or soft back covers. You can either use your own design and have it laminated or emboss your school name and badge onto a leather effect cover.

How much do yearbooks cost?
Boomerang Yearbooks start from as little as £12.99 each.
The price of your yearbook is dependant upon:
- how many pages you have
- what kind of cover you choose
- how many books you order
- whether you create your yearbook online or use our premium service

Are Boomerang Yearbooks full colour?
Yes. We give you the chance to be as creative and colourful as you like throughout your yearbook by offering a huge range of colours & colourful backgrounds to enhance your pictures & text.

How easy is it to use the online creation system?
Simple! Once we have given you your password, you can log in and begin creating your book. Upload & adjust your images, type or paste in your text, choose colours, fonts & backgrounds and arrange everything as you desire. If you need advice at any stage then we are always on hand to help!

What fonts can we use?
Both the online creation system & premium service have a wide range of fonts for you to choose from to suit all of your design requirements.

How good do our images need to be?
As good as possible! When taking photos, make sure that you set your camera to it's highest/best quality mode, and when saving images to a computer try to ensure that they are saved as high quality jpegs (around 300dpi effective resolution). Use the same guidelines if you are scanning images.

Do our computers need a minimum operating system?
Anything above Windows 2000 is advisable. The system may be usable with Windows 98 although you may find performance to be sluggish. Our system does not work with Windows 95.
